General.
This part of Malaga province known as La Axarquia lies between Nerja and Torrox at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol. It is a specatcular area with mountains and a number of nice beaches along the coast. Inland the towns of Torrox, Competa and Frigiliana are found in the Sierras, still conserving their traditional life. Torrox Pueblo and its coastal resort Torrox Costa are found at a twenty five minutes drive east of Malaga Airport making it a perfect place from which to explore Andalucia with it's mountains, parks and famous old pueblo towns. Torrox Village.
One of the larger pueblos on the coast, Torrox town has all the charm of any typical Andalusian village and remains one of the few coastal reas to remain relatively untouched by modern development. Torrox has steep winding streets and friendly people whose daily life is still rustic and traditional. It is a village full of atmosphere with its attractive squares cafes and tapas bars. This combination of new and old makes Torrox an interesting place to stay, offering a quiet villa holiday in the Spanish countryside with the advantage of having the sea close by. Possible activities include walking, horse riding or explloreing the white villages to sample their tasty wines and cuisine. For sightseeing in there are Roman ruins on the coast and famous caves at Nerja. Further away the Alhambra Palace, Seville and Gibraltar within easy reach. The excellent climate here and the year round fiestas make it a great destination whatever time you choose to visit.

The Accommodation.
Accommodation is offered in a quiet spacious private villa with three bedrooms; a master bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, second bedroom with three single beds and a thrird bedroom with two single beds. It has a large through lounge with lovely views across to Nerja and the coast, Satellite TV, open fire for the winter months and dining area adjoining the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with electric hob and washing machine.

The villa is located about 3km outside of the village of Torrox in rural countryside and is reached along a partially unmade farm track of approximately 1km. Although the access track to this villa is flat and kept in good condition, we suggest the hire of a 4x4, or other utility vehicle for the less adventurous during winter. This is a very comfortable villa, nicely decorated in rustic style. Outside there is a private pool, terraces with sun-loungers and a large parking area. All our villas are fully prepared before your arrival and bed linens are provided. Here are some comments from people who have stayed at our houses.

Prices include: weekly maid service, pool maintenance, linens and towels. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before occupation.
