Villa Mexicana, Torrox.

This former avocado farm is set in beautiful countryside with spectacular views of
mountains, farms and the Mediterranean in all directions. The villa has three
bedrooms, a private swimming pool and is located at Torrox on Spain's Costa
del Sol just ten minutes from the beach and twenty five minutes from Malaga
airport. This is an ideal location, allowing one to relax in a completely secluded
setting in the Andalusian countryside and still enjoy all the attractions that the
nearby Mediterranean coast has to offer just a few minutes away.

General.
This area, the Costa Tropical, lies at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol. It is a beautiful province with mountains and a series of lovely beaches along the coast. Inland Torrox and the other Andalusian 'White Villages' cling precariously to the
sides of the Sierras, still conserving many of their traditional ways. Torrox is an
ideal base from which to explore this region with it's mountains, parks and famous

Torrox Pueblo.
Dating from Roman times Torrox pueblo has steep winding streets and friendly people whose daily life remains focused on the rustic and traditional. It is a village
full of atmosphere with attractive squares, cafes, shops and small tapas bars.
Just ten minutes away at the coast is the modern beach resort of Torrox Costa and
the old town of Nerja. Here one can find more restaurants, tourist amenities and sandy beaches offering safe clean bathing. It is this combination of old and new which makes Torrox such an interesting place to stay, offering at the same time a quiet villa holiday
in the Spanish countryside with the added convenience of having some very lovely Mediterranean beaches close by.

For those with sightseeing in mind there are roman ruins all along the coast, some impressive caves at Nerja and of course the Alhambra Palace at Granada. The excellent climate here at Torrox and the frequent local fiestas make this a year round destination
and whatever time you choose to visit you will find Torrox a friendly and fascinating place to stay.

Activities
The list is endless, during your stay you may be tempted to go scuba diving, horse riding, sailing, walking, wine tasting or even skiing between the months of Dec-May. Night life is well catered for too with a large number of nightclubs, discos and bars open at the Torrox Costa, Nerja and Torre del Mar on the coast. Day trips can easily
be booked to visit Gibraltar, Cordoba, Seville, Ronda and even Morocco for the more adventurous.

The Accommodation.
Accommodation is offered in a Mexican style rustic villa set within two acres of fruit trees, vineyards and avocado groves. This villa offers seclusion and privacy but is not isolated. Inside there is a large bathroom ( with shower, bathtub and bidet) two double bedrooms and one bedroom with single beds. The villa's lounge is spacious with an open fireplace and a rustic style kitchen/dining area . The villa is located two kms outside of the village of Torrox in pleasant countryside and has tarmac access to the villa entrance. It is a very comfortable villa with it's own private pool, terraces, enclosed patio and a large parking area. The mains water at the house is of a very high quality and is fine for drinking. Our Torrox villas are all fully prepared before your arrival
and bed linens and towels are provided. Here are some comments from people who

Booking and Rates.
Prices cover rental of Villa Mexicana per week and include all linens, cleaning service before and after visit plus our information pack with maps, directions, suggestions and tips etc.

Discounts for couples, small groups and multi-week rentals.
Rentals are normally Saturday to Saturday, although
non-Saturday start/end days are possible for a small fee.
