This off the beaten track Torrox villa has a lovely setting near to the pueblo of Torrox and enjoys beautiful views of mountains, valleys and the Mediterranean. The villa has three bedrooms, pool etc and is located just ten minutes from the beach and thirty minutes from Malaga airport. Set among vineyards and local farms the villa provides the opportunity to experience Spanish rural country life and also enjoy the beaches and nearby attractions of Nerja and the coast.

General.
Spains Costa Tropical, occupies the eastern end of the better known Costa del Sol. It is a beautiful province with craggy mountains and lovely beaches all along the coast. One mile Inland whitewashed Torrox and the other Andalusian "pueblos blancos" cling to the steep slopes of the Sierras, still conserving their traditional and essentially rural way of life. Torrox Village is an ideal base from which one can explore this region with it's mountains, national parks and famous old towns and villages. Torrox Pueblo.
Torrox Pueblo still conserves its old moorish street layout which remains hardly altered since the Arabs were driven out of the area over 500 years ago. It is a village full of atmosphere with quiet squares, street cafes, small shops and of course plenty of tapas bars. Ten minutes away down at the coast Torrox Costa and the old town of Nerja provide a wealth of restarants, bars and shopping for all tastes and pockets. It is this mixture of old and new which makes the area such an interesting place to visit, offering a quiet villa holiday in the Spanish countryside with the added convenience of having Mediterranean beaches just a few minutes away. For sightseeing there are Roman ruins at the coast of Torrox and at Malaga, impressive stone age caves at Nerja and of course the Alhambra Palace at Granada. The gentle climate here at Torrox and the almost weekly local fiestas mean that whatever month you choose to visit you will always find Torrox a friendly and fun place to stay.

Activities.
The list is long, you might like to go scuba diving (the area west of Nerja is protected and offers the best diving and snokelling on the mainland), pony trekking, sailing, country walking, local wine tasting and all the usual water sports associated at the beaches. Night life is varied too with a large number of nightclubs, discos and bars open at Nerja and Torre del Mar on the coast and restaurants at Torrox Costa. Further afield day trips can be booked to visit Gibraltar,Malaga,Ronda,Amleria, Cordoba, Seville and even Tangiers for the more adventurous.

The Accommodation.
Accommodation is offered in a simple and traditional Spanish farmhouse which has been restored for rentals with the addition of a swimming pool, bathroom, kitchen etc. The farmhouse is away from the normal tourist areas and has an authentic rustic feel. Apart from its own three acres of vineyards and many fruit trees the house is surrounded in all directions by olive groves and small farms. The Torrox villa has three bedrooms, one with single beds and the other two with double beds. It has an open plan kitchen, lounge etc and a fireplace for use in winter. The house is located two kilometers outside the village
of Torrox in rural countryside and is accessed along a private farm track of 300 yards. It is a comfortable villa with it's own pool , extensive terraces, ample parking etc. Water at the house is of a very high quality and is fine for drinking. The villa is cleaned before your arrival and bed linens are provided. Here are some comments from people who have stayed at our houses.

Booking and Rates.
Prices are all inclusive for the villas per week including cleaning before visit, all linens plus our information pack, maps, directions, suggestions, etc.

Discounts for small groups and multi-week rentals.
Booking periods are normally Saturday to Saturday.
Midweek start and end days are possible for a nominal fee.
Extra days are simply charged at 1/7th of the weekly rate.
